  Honey increases energy levels manifold. Children will remain active throughout the day if they mix a teaspoon of honey with milk. Honey also improves digestion. The copper, iron, and manganese in honey help in the formation of hemoglobin in the body.

  

   On the other hand, honey also helps in weight gain. Drinking 1 glass of lukewarm milk with 1 teaspoon of honey helps in weight gain.

  Honey has been used for ages not only for body care but also for beauty. Honey makes the skin bright, soft and smooth. In beauty, honey is usually used as a 'face mask' and moisturizer. However, honey is more beneficial for dry and normal skin than oily skin.
